A small central Alberta town attracted more than 300 people Saturday for an anti-racism event despite an onslaught of online bigotry. Innisfail Mayor Jim Romane says he never considered the community racist but hoped to learn something from the nonviolent protest. But activist and speaker Audora Nwofor told the mayor and journalists that the town didn't deserve credit for allowing the event, adding that racism is something she deals with every day.
