Canadians chose ‘compassion and solidarity’: GG

Gov. Gen. Julie Payette says in a Canada Day message that the COVID-19 pandemic put people to the test this year, but she believes Canadians chose to care about each other during pain and economic hardship. She says she is confident Canadians will remember these lessons and not remain indifferent.
