Fan who caught Springer’s game-winning homer run says he knew he was going to catch ball

Michael Angeletti of Etobicoke, Ont., says he knew he was going to catch George Springer’s game-winning home run before the ball even left the bat. He said he was texting his cousin about sitting in the front row just before it happened: “I dropped the phone, caught the ball, and here we are.” (Oct. 21, 2025)
