Liberals release platform, party leaders question follow-through
The Liberals released their platform today, vowing to spend $78 billion in new funding over the next five years on promises such as $10-a-day child care, new mental health transfers to the provinces, climate change and housing. Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh questioned the sincerity of the promises and the Liberals' ability to follow through on them.
