Newsroom Ready: B.C. ceremony welcomes home Nisga’a totem
A memorial totem pole taken from a remote northwest B.C. Indigenous village and placed on display at the National Museum of Scotland has come home after almost 100 years. Hundreds of members of the Nisga’a Nation celebrated the return of the totem, which will now make its home at the nation’s own museum. (Sept. 30 2023)
