Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo told media how hard it was to tell veteran switch-hitter Kendrys Morales that he had been traded to the Oakland Athletics ahead of Toronto’s home opener against the Detroit Tigers. Both Montoyo and Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins are excited for the new season, but are hesitant to call it a rebuilding year.
