Newfoundland and Labrador RCMP say a man with 36 knives in his truck was arrested Tuesday morning near the office of an provincial election candidate after threatening to "execute" local politicians. Police say they believe he intended to kill or seriously harm someone, and they considered Liberal leader and incumbent premier Andrew Furey to be among those in danger.
