Newsroom Ready: Royal Canadian Navy reveals details about sailor who died in Halifax harbour
The Navy says two sailors were operating a rigid-hull inflatable boat in the harbour when it capsized in the Bedford Basin as a naval exercise was winding down around 10 p.m. The commander of Canadian Fleet Atlantic says the boat was being used to ferry naval personnel between a warship and a nearby jetty.
