O'Toole says MPs' comments about COVID-19 vaccines not helpful
Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole says members of Parliament should be leaving messaging around COVID-19 vaccinations up to public health experts, and not contributing to the confusion and hesitancy to get the shots. He made the comments after Conservative MP Marilyn Gladu said in an interview on CTV's "Question Period" that COVID-19 doesn't pose the same risk of death or disabilities as polio did in the early 20th century.
