About 1.25 million Canadians can expect a boost to government supports this summer, to compensate for extra costs they're incurring amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Minister Carla Qualtrough says medications, deliveries and other needs are more expensive and many people with disabilities are more likely to have trouble with employment when the economy suffers.
