At the conclusion of an emotional coroner's inquest into the death of Joyce Echaquan, in Trois-Rivières, Que., her family took to the streets for a march around the courthouse to commemorate her memory on Wednesday. They were joined by thousands of supporters hopeful that her death represents an awakening for Indigenous health care and combating systemic racism.
