President Putin receives credentials of new foreign ambassadors posted to Moscow
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday received diplomatic credentials from several dozens newly appointed foreign ambassadors during a special ceremony in Moscow. Addressing ambassadors of Western countries, including Japan, Canada, Italy, and Spain, Putin said that cooperation at regional and international levels has been frozen but Russia remains committed to "mutually beneficial cooperation and does not seek confrontation".
