Kocani residents gathered for a demonstration on Monday, as North Macedonia’s leaders vowed to hold those responsible to account after a nightclub fire in the town left 59 people dead and 155 injured from burns, smoke inhalation and being trampled in the panicked escape toward the building’s single exit.
