The commander of the U.S.-backed, Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces warned on Wednesday that Islamic State group militants are resurging in Syria's east, taking advantage of the power vacuum left by the overthrow of Bashar Assad's government and the recent fighting between his forces and insurgents.
