Dorothy’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ ruby slippers go up for auction

A pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in the classic 1939 film 'The Wizard of Oz' is being offered for auction, nearly two decades after a thief stole the iconic shoes. Heritage Auctions received the bedazzled slippers from their owner, memorabilia collector Michael Shaw. (Nov. 28)
