Newsroom Ready: Christine Sinclair, Diana Matheson grateful as Northern Super League launches
Former Canadian soccer players Christine Sinclair and Diana Matheson are feeling grateful ahead of the first-ever game for the Northern Soccer League. Matheson founded the new Canadian professional women's soccer league and Sinclair is a part owner of the Vancouver Rise, one of the six founding teams. Both say they're looking forward to how the league changes soccer in Canada. (April 15, 2025)
