Newsroom Ready: Freeland plays down impact on new NAFTA of threatened U.S. tariffs on Mexico

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland says Canada and Mexico are committed to ratifying the new NAFTA with the U.S., regardless of President Donald Trump's threat to impose tariffs on all Mexican imports in response to the flow of refugees crossing into the U.S. She indicates that Canada won't get involved in what she calls a 'bilateral issue' between Mexico and the U.S.
