The federal and B.C. government announced a five-year $142 million innovation fund to rebuild and strengthen B.C.’s wild salmon stocks. Federal Fisheries Minister Jonathan Wilkinson and B.C. Premier John Horgan were at Victoria’s Fishermen’s Wharf Friday, surrounded by fishing boats and float homes, to introduce the fund.
