Alberta announces 30,000 active COVID-19 cases
Premier Jason Kenney says Alberta's surging wave of COVID-19 has grown to more than 30,000 active cases that include 436 people in hospital. Kenney says the actual case count is likely much higher as the positivity rate is hovering around 30 per cent, and he expects hospitalizations will continue to increase in the coming weeks.
