Hockney: Going deaf has sharpened my art
David Hockney says losing his hearing means he can "see space clearer." The British artist was speaking at the unveiling of his 2011 painting "The Arrival of Spring in Woldgate, East Yorkshire," which he is donating to the Centre Pompidou in Paris. (Sept. 26)
