Maine teacher wins $1 mil Global Teacher Prize

An English teacher from Maine won the $1 million Global Teacher Prize in Dubai Sunday after 42 years of work teaching literature. Nancie Atwell plans to donate the full amount to the Center for Teaching and Learning which she founded in 1990. (March 16)
