Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam says vaccine research is an international effort and that it is encouraging to see some international clinical trials going ahead. She says Canada is also playing a role, on research and development but also thinking ahead to eventually manufacture and distribute a COVID-19 vaccine.
