Scheer raises concerns about WHO data, relationship with China
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer says he has serious concerns about the accuracy of the World Health Organization's data and its relationship with China. That is one reason he was disappointed that Bruce Aylward, a Canadian epidemiologist helping to lead the fight against COVID-19 at the WHO, was dropped from the House of Commons health committee’s witness list. Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland says a global pandemic needs a multilateral response and the WHO is best-placed to co-ordinate it.
