Ontario aims to quadruple COVID-19 testing by May and target vulnerable groups for screening
Premier Doug Ford announced the province is aiming to double COVID-19 testing to 8,000 per day by mid-April and to eventually reach 16,000 tests per day by early May. Ford said the province will focus testing on at-risk groups including residents at long-term care homes, healthcare workers and first responders.
