Hundreds of federal inmates moved toward release as COVID-19 spreads behind bars

With inmates in both federal prisons and provincial jails suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic, Public Safety Minister Bill Blair says up to 600 federal inmates have been identified as low-risk prisoners who might be released from custody to keep them out of the virus's way.
