The leader of the New Democrats says his party would impose a 20 per cent foreign buyers tax on home sales and build 500,000 affordable homes in the next 10 years if elected to govern. Jagmeet Singh says housing affordability has worsened under the Liberal government, and it showed that it did not consider the issue a priority.
