B.C. government gives additional funding to help residential school survivors
Indigenous service providers will receive $1.5 million for mental health and wellness supports for residential school survivors and First Nations after recent discoveries of remains at former school sites. The funding is part of $12 million announced in June for the BC Residential School Response Fund.
