Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole says his party will ensure Canada is ready to face future pandemics by implementing an emergency preparedness plan. He says the plan will include partnering with pharmaceutical companies to ramp up domestic manufacturing of critical medicines and active ingredients and working alongside the United States to strengthen the North American supply chain of pharmaceuticals.
