Newsroom Ready: Nova Scotia volunteers working towards a permanent memorial for mass shooting
A group of volunteers has started fundraising efforts for a permanent memorial for the 22 people killed in the Nova Scotia mass shooting a year ago. However, finding a suitable site may take time as people in Portapique, N.S., aren't eager to have a memorial too near to the scene of the tragedy.
