Newsroom Ready: One-time Liberal MP gives shout-out to Daughters of the Vote
Former Liberal MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes saluted young women in Ottawa for the Daughters of the Vote initiative for speaking their truth. About 48 of the young would-be MPs taking part in the Daughters of the Vote event on the floor of the House of Commons turned their backs on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as he spoke. Caesar-Chavannes has been critical of Trudeau over the SNC-Lavalin affair.
