Robert Pattinson is reportedly in negotiations to play the next superhero "Batman." According to media reports, the deal has not been made official yet but Pattinson is the top choice for the Warner Bros upcoming film, "The Batman." Fans were not happy to hear the rumours about Pattinson allegedly being cast as the Dark Knight, and already several petitions have been started to bar the actor from the role. One petition states, "Don't make the Batfleck mistake again." Many people were also upset when Ben Affleck took over the role of the Dark Knight. Affleck starred in 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and 2017's "Justice League." Pattinson is well known for playing a vampire in the "Twilight" saga movie series. "The Batman" will be produced by Matt Reeves and is scheduled to hit theatres on June 25, 2021.
