Prime Minister Mark Carney says revising the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement is necessary to ensure most of Canada's exports to the U.S. remain tariff-free. But he says U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed a preference for negotiating bilateral deals on certain sectors outside of the trade pact, including for steel, aluminum, autos, forest products and pharmaceuticals.
