The Tsawwassen First Nation is investigating what appears to be an uptick in reported deaths of sturgeon in the lower Fraser River. Kelly Scott, a biologist with the nation, says the mortality events for the giant fish are concerning and raise questions about what is changing in their environment. (Sept. 21, 2025)
