When Canadian filmmaker Julia Ivanova’s doc “Family Portrait in Black and White” premiered at Sundance in 2011, she says Robert Redford gave her advice that changed her career. The acting legend, who founded the film festival, died Tuesday at age 89. (Sept. 17, 2025)
