Man killed in Vaughan, Ont., home invasion was ‘a hero,' brother says

The brother of Abdul Aleem Farooqi, a 46-year-old man killed in his Vaughan, Ont., home early Sunday morning during a home invasion, says his brother died “a hero.” At a press conference, Vaughan Mayor Steven Del Duca called for changes to Canada’s criminal justice system after a second home invasion took place less than a kilometre away from Farooqi’s home that same night.
