Defence minister revives military justice reform bill

Defence Minister David McGuinty discusses legislation to remove military jurisdiction to prosecute sexual offence cases under the Criminal Code. McGuinty tabled the bill in the House of Commons, after a nearly identical bill didn't pass before the last Parliament was dissolved for an election. (Sept. 26, 2025)
