Newsroom Ready: Alberta to offer DIY curriculum, money to parents if teachers strike

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says if teachers follow through on a provincewide strike Monday, her government will provide families money and a do-it-yourself curriculum guide so parents can teach their kids at home. Teachers voted down a tentative agreement with the government, starting the countdown clock for the possible strike. (Sept. 30, 2025)
