MAP - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised help Monday for Alberta's fight against wildfires as thousands of people remained out of their homes. About 29,000 people have been ordered to leave their homes in several communities in recent days. In British Columbia, evacuation orders or alerts remain in place for much of the areas surrounding the Red Creek and Boundary Lake fires, about 1,300 kilometres northeast of Vancouver. The Canadian Press has prepared a map locating the wildfires of note in Alberta and B.C. as of Monday, May 8. The graphic accompanies Alta-Wildfire and BC-Wildfire ; THE CANADIAN PRESS/Sean Vokey
