The federal environment commissioner released five reports outlining Canada’s progress on issues including eliminating plastic waste and dealing with contaminated sites. Liberal MP Julie Dabrusin, who is parliamentary secretary to the environment minister, said her government welcomes the reports, and is taking steps to implement the recommendations. (April 30, 2024)
