Two-year-old Labrador retriever Penny is taking over the reins as Victim Services Toronto’s trauma dog. The organization’s trauma dog program provides victims of crime or other sudden tragedy with access to Penny, to help them navigate the next steps more easily including making statements to police or appearing in court.
