Victim’s friend disappointed after judge finds Mountie guilty of manslaughter
A former Saskatchewan Mountie has been found guilty of manslaughter in the shooting death of his lover. Bernie Herman, 55, was found guilty in the death of 26-year-old Braden Herman. The two men are not related. Braden Herman’s friend June Hanson says she is disappointed the officer wasn’t found guilty of a more serious charge. (Jan. 25, 2024)
