Alberta's chief medical officer says new infections from an E. coli outbreak affecting several Calgary daycares has plateaued, while Premier Danielle Smith says she's asked a panel to look into how to improve food safety in daycares. The City of Calgary has also announced bylaw charges against the company that runs the central kitchen at the centre of the outbreak, alleging Fueling Minds Inc. operated without a proper licence.
