Moviegoers and food purveyors descended on downtown Toronto Thursday for opening day of the Toronto International Film Festival. The shadow of the strike by Hollywood actors and writers did not appear to dim the sunny excitement of fans who took in the sights, sounds and snacks on Festival Street. (Sept. 7 2023)
