Celina Caesar-Chavannes, the Liberal MP for Whitby is photographed at the University of Toronto's Hart House on March 16 2016. Ms. Caesar-Chavannes is Justin Trudeau's parliamentary secretary and a rookie MP from Whitby, Ontario with a fascinating back story. She and her husband and their three children were living in Brampton at the time, and were poor. She went back to school, and ended up finding great support from other women. Eventually, she started her own health business, and encouraged by her daughters, she joined the Liberal Party. When a note went around asking women to run, she decided "why not".
