Trudeau on indigenous rights, dirty tricks in Hamilton
Justin Trudeau defended his Liberal government’s record on defending Indigenous rights Saturday during a campaign stop in Hamilton, including the decision to appeal a human rights ruling on compensation for First Nations children. He also denounced dirty-tricks politics after a Globe and Mail report that said the Conservative party hired Warren Kinsella’s consulting group to smear the People’s Party of Canada and its leader and founder, former Conservative MP Maxime Bernier.
