'Friends' reunion special reportedly in the works
"Friends" may be there for you again in 2020 courtesy of HBO Max. According to media reports Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are all in discussions to reunite for a special. Series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman would also be returning. HBO Max and Warner Bros. TV declined to comment on the report. "Friends" is officially leaving Netflix at the end of 2019. It will debut on HBO Max sometime in 2020. WarnerMedia paid $425 million over five years for the exclusive streaming rights for "Friends."
